Instructional Designer

Job Role and Responsibilities

Are you a tech-savvy educational fanatic ready to take on the challenge of innovator, researcher, and content creator? pro•duhk•tiv is looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing programs.

  • Create compelling course content and engaging exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Work with subject matter experts and clients to identify target audience training needs
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Devise modes of assessment to measure the effectiveness of courses
  • Maintain project documentation, data, and course folders

Required Skills

  • Previous working experience in instructional design - one to three years of experience preferred
  • Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Ability to write compelling copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts
  • Visual design skills
  • Lesson planning and project management skills
  • Basic HTML understand is a plus

Additional Information

Location: Remote based work - Atlanta area preferred for occasional in-person meetings.

Hours: Full-time position (40 hrs/wk)

Pay: $49,000-$70,000 based on experience
